At SAIFCA, we are driven by the urgent need to address the near-term risks AI poses to children while laying the groundwork for a safer AI future.
From harmful chatbot interactions to AI-generated content exploitation, the risks are clear, and the stakes are high. At the same time, we aim to inspire the next generation to take an active role in shaping AI systems that align with human values and contribute to broader societal efforts to ensure AI technologies benefit everyone.

In 2025, our work will focus on three core objectives:
- Protecting Children from Immediate AI Risks
This year, we will raise awareness among parents, educators, and policymakers about the dangers AI poses to children. Through articles, interviews with experts, and accessible resources, we aim to equip caregivers and decision-makers with the knowledge they need to safeguard children effectively. - Building an Alliance of Advocates and Experts
As part of our long-term vision, we will connect with like-minded individuals and organisations to build momentum around AI safety for children.
